Spicy Shrimp Salad

  1. Mince the garlic, chop the onion and cilantro, and add to a large non-metallic bowl along with the shrimp.
  2. Cover with lime juice, then clamato juice and stir well.
  3. Refrigerate, covered for at least 3 hours.
  4. Season to taste with salt and black pepper, stir again, and return to the refrigerator for one more hour.
  5. Top with avocado slices and serve, along with tortilla chips and lime wedges.
