Classic BLT with a Slight Twist

  1. Start off by cooking bacon on medium heat in a skillet.
  2. While the bacon is cooking, slice the tomato and season both sides with a pinch of salt.
  3. Next, mix together the bread crumbs and Italian seasoning.
  4. You are then going to dip both sides of the tomato in the bread crumb mixture, making sure both sides are coated very well.
  5. After the bacon is done cooking, place it on a paper towel to drain off any excess oil.
  6. Clean the pan and return to the stove.
  7. Heat olive oil in the skillet and then place the slices of breaded tomato in the pan and cook on both sides, about 2 minutes each.
  8. When done, lay flat on a paper towel to dry.
  9. Meanwhile, toast your bread, then spread the cream cheese on both slices.
  10. Layer lettuce, tomato, and bacon on your toast and ENJOY!
