Handmade Bread

  1. Add 3 cups Flour in large bowl.
  2. Next, add 2 tbs sugar and powdered milk.
  3. Add 1 tsp salt to on side and 1 envelope Active dry yeast to separate side.
  4. Mix dry ingredients.
  5. Add 2 tbs softened butter.
  6. Add 1 cup lukewarm water.
  7. Mix ingredients in bowl until dough forms, scraping excess ingredients from sides of bowl and kneading into dough.
  8. If dough is too dry, add small amounts of remaining 1/3 cup Lukewarm water until elasticity is correct.
  9. If dough is too sticky, add small amounts of flour.
  10. Shape dough into sphere by folding into itself on bottom and place in towel covered bowl.
  11. Place bowl in warm place to let dough rise.
  12. Preheat oven to 350F Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius) while dough rises.
  13. Spray or grease loaf pan if necessary.
  14. Once dough has risen to twice its original size, knead again into loaf shape.
  15. Let dough rise again in loaf pan before placing into preheated oven.
  16. Bake until top is browned.
