Homemade DIY Mulling Spices
- 2-18 ounces, weight Cinnamon Sticks/Quills (broken Into Small Pieces)
- 1 ounces, weight Cardamom Pods
- 1- 1/4 ounces, weight Whole Cloves
- 1 ounces, weight Allspice Berries
- 5-13 ounces, weight Crystallized Stem Ginger
- Mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl.
- Fill about 30 individual sachets with about 8 grams each of the spice mixture.
- Each sachet will flavor about 750 ml of wine or apple cider.
- For preparing: Simmer one sachet in 750 ml of wine or apple cider, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes or until desired flavor is achieved.
- Discard the sachet.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
