Individual Rum & Eggnog Cakes

  1. Generously grease and flour 12 individual or 1 10" bundt pan.
  2. Sprinkle nuts into bottom.
  3. Heat oven to 350 for individual bundts/325 for 10" pan.
  4. In a large bowl mix, cake mix, eggnog, oil, eggs, rum & nutmeg.
  5. Beat 2 minutes.
  6. Pour into prepared pans.
  7. Bake 20 minutes individual bundts and 1 hour for 10" pan.
  8. Cool and remove.
  9. OPTIONAL: Prick cake with toothpick and using a pastry brush, brush on rum.
  10. Continue over the course of and hour.
  11. Let sit for several hours or overnight.
