Sour Cream Anise Cookies
- 1 cup vegetable shortening
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup honey
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 3 large eggs
- 3 1/2 cups flour, all-purpose
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon aniseed
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- In a mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugar.
- Add the honey, sour cream and eggs; beat well.
- Combine flour, baking soda, aniseed and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix tell.
- Drop by teaspoon 2 inch apart onto greased baking sheets.
- Bake at 350F (180C).
- for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
