Chicken And Snow Peas With Rice Recipe
- 2 lg. boneless chicken breasts, skinless
- 2 tbsp. veg. oil
- 4 green onions
- 2 tbsp. sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 3 stalks celery, bias sliced
- 3 c. warm cooked rice
- 1/2 pound snow peas
- Soy sauce
- Cut chicken into 1-inch pcs.
- Heat skillet with veg.
- oil, stir fry celery and onions till crisp-tender and remove.
- Set aside.
- Stir fry chicken about 3 min till light gold color.
- Add in 3 or possibly 4 Tbsp.
- water and stir.
- Add in 3 or possibly 4 Tbsp.
- soy sauce according to your taste and sprinkle cornstarch over all.
- Cook 2 more min till thick and bubbly.
- Add in snow peas for about 2 more min of cooking (lid on) to steam peas.
- Uncover and serve over warm rice and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Makes 3 servings.
