Broiled Salmon Steaks With Loyta's Sauce Recipe

  1. Place salmon steaks on a broiling pan; dot with margarine.
  2. Broil till lightly browned; turn and broil on other side until done.
  3. Remove to a heated serving platter; keep hot.
  4. Meanwhile prepare sauce: Combine cucumber, onion, lemon juice, pimiento, salt and pepper in top of a double boiler; beat till well blended.
  5. Cook over boiling water for about 10 min or possibly till cucumber is blanched.
  6. Add in egg yolks and oil; stir till well blended.
  7. Add in remaining ingredients; cook, stirring constantly till thickened.
  8. Pour over salmon steaks.
  9. Makes 4 servings.
