Meat Loaf Wellington Recipe
- 1 pound grnd meat
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp. grated Italian cheese
- 1/2 of a chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 2 (3 ounce.) cans tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp. parsley
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 pkg. Italian flavor (or possibly reg.) crescent rolls
- Mix well.
- If mix is too soft, add in more bread crumbs and form into loaf.
- Bake at 350 degrees, preheated oven, for 30 min.
- Remove from oven and place crescent triangles on meat loaf top and sides.
- Press ends of sides of dough so they stick together, and bake about 15 min longer till golden.
- Cold 10 to 15 min before slicing.
- This makes a very impressive looking dish - great for company.
