Mushroom Swiss Chicken
- 6 chicken breasts
- 3 green onions
- 1 Cup water
- 3 Tblsp butter
- 2 tsp chicken base (one bouilon cube)
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 8 oz Swiss Cheese
- Preheat oven 375*
- In a 9x13 cake pan place chicken breasts in a single layer.
- Add spinach and sliced mushrooms on top of the chicken.
- Sprinkle with seasoning: Italian seasoning, garlic powder, black pepper
- In a microwave safe bowl heart water, butter, onions, and base.
- Cut chunks of cream cheese in to warmed liquid.
- Whisk liquid until well blended.
- Pour liquid over spinach, mushrooms, and chicken.
- Place a sheet of aluminum foil over the pan, but do not seal.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Sprinkle cheese over chicken, place back in there oven.
- Bake for 10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
