Minestrone Verde
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 onion, chopped Safeway 3 lb For $2.99 thru 02/09
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1 can (10 oz) Aylmer Beef Broth
- 2 cups water
- 1 tsp. dried basil leaves
- 1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- 1/2 cup Primo Elbows
- 1 can (14 oz) Primo Kidney Beans drained and rinsed
- 1 can (14 oz) cut green beans, drained
- Cook onion, garlic, pepper and celery in oil in large saucepan over medium heat until tender.
- Stir IN broth, water, basil and oregano.
- Bring to boil.
- Stir in pasta.
- Cover and simmer over medium heat 10 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.
- Add kidney beans and green beans.
- Heat through.
- Serve immediately.
