Pickled Hot Peppers Recipe

  2. Cut peppers or possibly leave whole (to prevent bursting cut 2 small slits).

  4. Combine water and vinegar, heat to a simmer.
  5. Don't boil.
  6. 3.
  7. Pack peppers tightly into clean warm jars.
  8. Pour warm vinegar solution over peppers leaving 1/2 inch head space.
  9. 4.
  10. Add in salt and seal.
  11. 5.
  12. Process in boiling bath for 10 min.
  13. Yield 4 pints.
