Gingersnap Molasses Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the butter, sugar, molasses, egg, baking soda, salt, spices, and flour.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Form into 1 inch balls and roll in the extra sugar or vanilla sugar.
  5. Place on lightly greased cookie sheets, and make sure to not place the cookies too close to one another.
  6. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
