Chocolate Mint Snow Top Cookies Recipe
- 1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. (1 1/2 c.) Nestle Toll House mint flavored semi sweet chocolate morsels, divided
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 6 tbsp. (3/4 stick) butter, softened
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 Large eggs
- Confectioners' sugar
- In small bowl, combine flour, baking pwdr and salt; set aside.
- Heat 1 c. mint chocolate morsels; set aside.
- In large mixer bowl, beat granulated sugar and butter till creamy.
- Beat in melted chocolate and vanilla extract.
- Beat in Large eggs.
- Gradually beat in flour mix.
- Stir in remaining 1/2 c. mint chocolate morsels.
- Wrap dough in plastic wrap; freeze till hard, about 20 min.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Shape dough into 1" balls; coat with confectioners' sugar.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake 10 to 12 min till tops appear cracked.
- Let stand on cookie sheets 5 min.
- Remove from cookie sheets; cold.
- Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
