Toffee Cream of Wheat

  1. Combine cream of wheat, the 3/4 cup milk and pinch of salt in microwave safe bowl.
  2. Microwave on high for 1 minute; stir.
  3. Microwave 1 to 2 minutes more, stirring once.
  4. Set aside and keep warm.
  5. In a small skillet heat the almonds, butter and sugar until the nuts are golden.
  6. Pour over cream of wheat.
  7. Top with additional milk if desired, and serve.
