Shrimp Festival Fish Stew

  1. Fry butts meat.
  2. Remove the meat.
  3. Saute the onions in the drippings; add chopped potatoes and all remaining ingredients.
  4. Add 4 gallon tomato cans of water.
  5. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 7 hours.
  6. Shut off heat and seal tight overnight.
  7. NOTE: Cook time does not include overnight sitting.
