Crunchy Cookie Cutter Cookies

  1. Cream the butter until creamy.
  2. Add granulated sugar and mix together.
  3. Add a beaten egg little by little, and mix.
  4. (Add in 5 portions.)
  5. Add sifted flour and baking powder, and fold in with a spatula.
  6. Roll the dough into a ball until it's no longer floury.
  7. Roll out the dough to a 5 mm thickness, and cut out shapes with cookie cutters.
  8. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 170C / 340F.
  9. When the cookies are lightly browned, they're done.
