Oatmeal Chip Cookies

  1. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  3. Combine oats, flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips.
  5. Chill dough for 1 hour or until firm.
  6. Roll dough into 1-1/2 inches balls; place on greased baking sheets.
  7. Bake at 350 for 11-13 minutes or until lightly browned.
  8. Yield: about 7 dozen.
