Peas with Ham

  1. Heat the oil in a frying pan.
  2. Cook the onion for 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until translucent.
  3. Increase the heat.
  4. Add the ham and cook for about 3 minutes until it begins to brown.
  5. Stir in the tomatoes and paprika.
  6. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
  7. Mix in the peas.
  8. Mash the garlic, parsley, and 1/2 tsp salt together, then stir in the wine.
  9. Add to the pan, and season with pepper.
  10. Simmer for 5 minutes more, and serve hot.
