Chicken and vegetables
- 3 cup water
- 1 tsp summer savory
- 2 tsp chopped parsley
- 1 1/2 tsp celery salt
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp rosemary
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 clove garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tsp marjoram
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 lb chicken breasts
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 large green bell pepper
- 28 oz diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp file
- 1/4 tsp chopped mint
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp whole leaf oregano
- 2 lb mixed vegetables your favorite
- 1 tsp file
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp red wine vinegar
- In a pot add the water and chicken.
- Add all the seasonings for the broth.
- And boil.
- To a pan add butter, onions and bell pepper.
- Shred the chicken add to onions and vegetables.
- Add the tomatoes and simmer 10 minutes.
- Add mint and vinegar.
- Add file to the chicken, after it simmered 5 minutes.
- Then Simmer till most of liquid is gone.
- Cover let sit 5 minutes covered
- To the vegetables add vinegar, salt and file.
- Simmer till liquid is gone then add 1 cup of water.
- Let sit for 5 minutes covered.
- Serve, hope you enjoy!
