Indian noodles
- 100 gm vermicelli or spaghetti
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- pinch turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon coriander seed powder
- 1/4 teaspoon mix spices (ground blackpeppers, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom)
- 1 onion chopped
- handful green peas
- 2-3 cloves garlic, minced finely
- 1 tablespoon oil
- to taste salt
- 1 tablespoon coriander/cilantro
- 1/2 tomato chopped
- 1/2 capsicum (green bell pepper) chopped
- Heat a tablespoon oil in a pan.
- Add chopped onion and garlic and saute for a minute.
- Add chopped capsicum, green peas and tomatoes and saute for one more minute.
- Add red chili powder, turmeric and coriander seed powder, mixed spices, salt to taste and mix well.
- Add 100 gm or a cup of vermicelli and two cup of water.
- Cover the pan and let it cook for 8-10 minutes.
- It's done.
- Add cilantro and mix well and serve it hot.
