Fathers Day Steak Feast
- 2 cups White Button Mushrooms
- 1 whole Small Onion, Peeled
- 1/2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 2 Tablespoons A-1 Steak Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Canola Oil
- 1 whole (16 Oz. Size) 2" Thick Rib-Eye Steak
- Clean each button mushroom with a damp paper towel and slice each mushroom.
- Add them into a large mixing bowl.
- Slice the onion and add it into the bowl.
- Add pepper, A-1 steak sauce and canola oil and mix together.
- Place the rib-eye steak in the bowl and coat the steak with the mixture.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for one hour before grilling.
- When ready to grill preheat a griddle pan or fire-up the outside grill to medium high heat.
- Remove steak from refrigerator and place on a plate.
- Create an aluminum foil packet and fill the packet with the mushrooms and onions mixture from the bowl.
- Wrap up the sides of the foil and place packet on the grill.
- Add the seasoned steak to the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side (cooking times may vary depending on your Dads liking of done-ness).
- Remove steak and onions from the grill.
- Let steak rest on a plate a few minutes after grilling.
- Add grilled mushroom and onions to the top of the grilled steak, when ready to serve it to your dad!
