Delicious and Easy Lasagna
- 1 lb extra lean ground beef
- 1 quart spaghetti sauce
- 1 cup water
- 1 (15 ounce) carton cottage cheese
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese
- 14 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 13 cup water
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
- 1 dash nutmeg
- 1 dash salt and pepper, to taste
- 12 ounces lasagna noodles, uncooked
- 14 cup parmesan cheese
- Cook ground beef, then add marinara sauce and cup of water.
- Boil then let simmer.
- Mix all other ingredients excluding lasagna noodles, in a separate bowl.
- In a 9x13 glass baking dish layer: uncooked lasagna noodles, meat sauce, and cheese mixture three times.
- Top with additional 1/4 cup parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake at 375F degrees for 40 minutes.
- Remove foil and continue baking for 15 minutes more.
- Let stand 10-15 minutes before cutting and serving.
