Meat Pie
- 2 lbs ground turkey
- 2 cups chopped onions
- 14 teaspoon sage
- 14 teaspoon cinnamon
- 14 teaspoon clove
- 14 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 14 teaspoon natures seasoning
- 12 cup water
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 4 large potatoes
- 4 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- 2 pillsbury pie crusts
- In non stick skillet stir fry onions in just enough water to make tender.
- Add ground turkey and spices.
- Stir fry and cook together.
- Add 1/2 C of water and boullion cube.
- Simmer 10 minutes, drain slightly and save liquid.
- Cook potatoes on the side, mash without milk or butter.
- If potatoes are too dry, add liquid saved from meat.
- Add to meat mixture and blend well.
- Add bread crumbs.
- Place mixture between 2 pie crusts in 9" pie plate.
- Baste with 1 TBS skim milk.
- Add steam vents to upper crust.
- Cook at 375 degrees x1 hour.
