Meat Pie

  1. In non stick skillet stir fry onions in just enough water to make tender.
  2. Add ground turkey and spices.
  3. Stir fry and cook together.
  4. Add 1/2 C of water and boullion cube.
  5. Simmer 10 minutes, drain slightly and save liquid.
  6. Cook potatoes on the side, mash without milk or butter.
  7. If potatoes are too dry, add liquid saved from meat.
  8. Add to meat mixture and blend well.
  9. Add bread crumbs.
  10. Place mixture between 2 pie crusts in 9" pie plate.
  11. Baste with 1 TBS skim milk.
  12. Add steam vents to upper crust.
  13. Cook at 375 degrees x1 hour.
