Marinara Sauce
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 1 large tomatoes, diced
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dill weed
- 12 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Brown burger with all spices except bay leaf.
- Add all ingredients in large saucepan bring to boil then turn down heat to simmer for at least 1 1/2 hours.
- It will be ready when the color changes from a tomato red to the more orange red color of spagetti sauce.
- In crock pot add all ingredients on low simmer for 6-8 hours or 3-4 hours on high.
- use for spagetti, pizza, lasgana, or any other marinara sauce.
