Rich and Chewy Ogre Dumplings (Oni-Manju)

  1. Remove the skin from the sweet potato, chop into 1 cm cubes, then soak in water.
  2. Put the drained sweet potatoes into the "a" mixture, then mix with a wooden spoon.
  3. Add the honey and water, and stir until no longer floury.
  4. Separate the mixture into 8 dumplings, line the steamer with parchment paper, then place the dumplings on top making sure there is enough space between them.
  5. Steam for 15 minutes on medium heat.
