Okra and Tomatoes Mom Style
- 12 large onion, chopped
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 15 ounces stewed tomatoes
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 16 ounces frozen okra
- extra garlic (optional)
- In large saucepan, saute onion in butter until limp.
- Add garlic towards end of sauteeing if using.
- Chop stewed tomatoes into small pieces.
- Add tomatoes to pan.
- Add tomato sauce to pan.
- Add okra.
- Cook until okra is done and sauce is thickened a bit.
