Mud Slide Ice Cream Dream

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (325 if using a dark non-stick pan).
  2. In a large bowl, mix cake mix, butter, and eggs with a spoon.
  3. Spread in the pan.
  4. Bake 20-25 minutes or until center is set.
  5. *The top will appear dry and cracked.
  6. Cool completely, 1 hour.
  7. Brush the 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur or coffee over the cake.
  8. Let the ice cream soften for 15 minutes.
  9. Spread the ice cream over the cake and freeze 3 hours or until firm.
  10. In a medium bowl, mix the frosting and the 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur or coffee.
  11. Spread over the ice cream.
  12. Cover and return to the freezer for 1 hour.
