Tomato Sauce
- 2 chopped onions
- salt
- pepper
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 28 ounces diced tomatoes
- 30 ounces tomato sauce
- 24 ounces tomato paste
- 10 12 ounces consomme
- 1 12 cups dry red wine
- 5 cups water
- 1 tablespoon garlic
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 1 tablespoon basil
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Saute the first three ingredients until the onions are soft.
- Then add the next ingredient, incorporate, then add the next ingredient.
- Repeat until there are no more ingredients.
- You are done, let it simmer until you need it.
- Makes a lot of sauce!
