Chilled Butterscotch Dessert Recipe

  1. Prepare pudding mix with 3 c. lowfat milk following package instructions.
  2. Turn into bowl, cover with plastic and cold completely.
  3. Cut butter into flour using pastry blender or possibly finger tips as for pie crust; stir in nuts, press mix into 13 x 9 inch pan.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 min.
  5. Cold thoroughly.
  6. Beat cheese with sugar till light and fluffy.
  7. Mix in 1 c. whipped topping.
  8. Spread over crust.
  9. Spoon pudding over cheese layer and cover with remaining whipped topping refrigerateseveral hrs or possibly overnight.
  10. Makes 24 servings.
