Shallots and Sirloin Stew

  1. Toss cubed meat in flour and all spices (to coat).
  2. After covering with flour, remove meat and saute in the olive oil until brown.
  3. Add shallots and saute 5 minutes.
  4. Add red potatoes and saute an additional 3 minutes.
  5. Add tomatoes and water, then let simmer 5 minutes.
  6. Stir and simmer 30-35 minutes.
