Smoky Bacon-Lentil Soup

  1. Cook lentils in 1-1/2 qt.
  2. (6 cups) water and salt in medium stockpot 30 min.
  3. Meanwhile, cook and stir bacon in small skillet on medium heat until crisp.
  4. Add wieners; simmer on medium-low heat 5 min.
  5. Drain.
  6. Blend water, tomatoes, onion, garlic and bouillon in blender until smooth.
  7. Add to lentil mixture; stir.
  8. Bring to boil; simmer on medium-low heat 10 min.
  9. Add bacon mixture; stir.
  10. Simmer 15 min.
  11. Beat egg lightly with whisk.
  12. Gradually stir into soup; cook 1 min., stirring constantly.
