Grannie Mc Kenzie's Chocolate Meringue Pie Recipe

  1. Blend together sugar, flour, salt, cornstarch, cocoa.
  2. Stir into warm lowfat milk.
  3. Cook over warm water in double boiler till thick.
  4. Add in small amount of warm mix to beaten egg yolks.
  5. Stir well and add in to mix.
  6. Cook two min longer.
  7. Cold.
  8. Add in vanilla.
  9. Pour into baked pie shell.
  10. Top with meringue and brown.
  11. MERINGUE: Beat egg whites till stiff.
  12. Add in 4 Tbsp.
  13. sugar.
  14. Put on top of pie.
  15. Bake at 350 degrees till brown.
