Unstuffed Peppers

  1. Brown the meat with the diced onion in a large soup pot.
  2. Add everything except the peppers and toppings and bring it to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Add peppers, cover and simmer for another 30 minutes.
  5. Serve with or without toppings.
