Hawaiian Meatballs
- 1 14 lbs ground beef
- 23 cup cracker crumb
- 13 cup onion (chopped)
- 1 egg
- 1 12 teaspoons salt
- 14 teaspoon ginger
- 14 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon shortening
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 12 cup brown sugar
- 23 ounces chunk pineapple (reserve liquid)
- 13 cup vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 13 cup green pepper (Chopped)
- Mix first 7 ingredients together, make mini meatballs.
- Melt shortening in fry pan & fry small meat balls.
- Pour fat from skillet & set aside meatballs.
- In small bowl, Mix cornstarch& sugar, stir in pineapple syrup, vinegar,& soy sauce, until smooth.Pour into skillet & cook until thickened.
- Add meatballs, pineapple & peppers.
- Heat through.
- Serve on rice or alone as an appetizer.
