Easy Taco Pizzas
- 1 pound Lean Ground Beef
- 1/2 Medium Sweet Onion, Finely Chopped
- 5 Personal Size Flat Breads
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 can (about 16 Oz. Size) Fat Free Refried Beans
- 1 Tablespoon Cumin
- 1/2 teaspoons Chili Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 2 teaspoons Hot Pepper Sauce
- 1/4 cups Salsa
- 1- 1/4 cup Shredded Mexican Cheese Blend
- 1- 1/4 cup Shredded Pepper Jack Cheese
- 2 cups Shredded Romaine Lettuce
- 2 Roma Tomatoes, Diced
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Brown meat in a large skillet over medium heat.
- When meat is browned, add onions and saute until onions are tender (about 3-4 minutes).
- While meat is browning, brush flat breads with olive oil and place on two large baking sheets.
- Place flat breads in the oven 5 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and spread each flat bread with 2 tablespoons of refried beans.
- Once the meat is browned and onions are tender, reduce heat to medium low and mix in cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper, hot pepper sauce, and salsa.
- Mix well.
- Sprinkle 1/2 cup of the meat mixture over refried beans on each flat bread.
- Top with 1/4 cup of Mexican cheese blend and 1/4 cup of pepper jack cheese.
- Return to the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted and slightly browned on top.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with romaine lettuce and diced tomatoes.
