Flapjacks

  1. Preheat fan oven to 170c
  2. Line flat baking tray with parchment paper
  3. Add the butter, sugar and syrup into a pan and heat until the sugar is melted
  4. Remove from heat and add the flour, bicarbonate of soda, oats, cinnamon powder and raisins.
  5. Add the beaten egg and boiling water and mix well
  6. Dampen hands and make into flattened balls placing on the baking tray allowing plenty of room for expanding
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and still soft
