Mushroom Gravy

  1. Heat the margarine in a medium saucepan.
  2. Add the mushrooms and cook, covered, until they are done to your liking.
  3. Dissolve the flour in enough cold water to make a smooth paste.
  4. Add it to the saucepan along with the vegetable stock and whisk together.
  5. Bring to a simmer, and cook gently until the mixture has thickened.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, and serve.
