My Grandpa's Chocolate Dessert

• 10 ounces chocolate chips
• 4 egg yolks
• 8 ounces Dream Whip
• 42 vanilla wafers
• 4 egg whites
• 12 cup sugar

1. Melt chocolate chips in double boiler or use microwave.
2. Remove from heat.
3. Add egg yolks two at a time, and stir well.
4. In a bowl, beat egg whites with 1/2 C sugar until very stiff.
5. Add egg whites to Dream Whip.
6. In a deep glass bowl, begin with a layer of vanilla wafers.
7. Top with chocolate.
8. Continue layering wafers and chocolate, ending with cookies on top.
9. Refrigerate until serving time.
