Spicy Nut and Raisin Mix
- 2 tablespoons peanut oil
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2/3 cup unblanched almonds
- 2/3 cup pine nuts
- 2/3 cup unsalted cashews
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons chile powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne
- 1 1/3 cups thin pretzel sticks, broken in 1-inch pieces
- 1 cup seedless raisins
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- In a large cast iron skillet, over a medium heat, warm the oil.
- Add the garlic and cook 1 to 2 minutes.
- Add the almonds, pine nuts, and cashews.
- Add the Worcestershire sauce, chile powder, and cayenne.
- Mix well.
- Stir in the pretzels and cook 3 to 4 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from the heat.
- Add the raisins and salt.
- Mix well.
- Turn the mixture into a serving dish and cool.
