Glazed Strawberry Pie

  1. GLAZE: Combine 1 cup sliced strawberries, 1/4 cup water, sugar and salt in saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Cook for 3 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Mix cornstarch in 1/4 cup cold water.
  6. Add to strawberry mixture.
  7. Bring to a boil.
  8. Continue cooking untl sauce thickens.
  9. FILLING: Mix 1 cup topping thoroughly with cream cheese and icing sugar.
  10. Spread cream cheese mixture in pie shell.
  11. Cover with half the strawberry sauce.
  12. Cover with whipped topping.
  13. Chill until set, about 2 hours.
  14. Serve 6.
