Crock Pot Chicken Apple Stuffing
- 1 lb chicken-apple sausages
- 2 -3 slices bacon
- 12 cup yellow onion, chopped
- 10 cups breadcrumbs
- 13 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 12 cup apple cider
- 2 apples, cubed
- Coat your 4 1/2 quart Crock pot with Cooking Spray.
- Cook your Sausage, Bacon, & onions in a frying pan until brown- drain grease.
- Combine Bread Crumbs & Sausage mix in crock pot.
- Melt your butter & drizzle over mixture, add poultry season, salt, pepper , chicken broth, cider & apples.
- **MIX WELL**.
- Cook on low 4 1/2 to 5 hours or on high 2 1/2 hours.
- Make sure to stir once in while and to check moisture level.
- If mixture seems dry, add more chicken broth.
- This stuffing mix goes great with Pork Lion.
- You can also add cranberries for a sweeter taste.
