Fruitcake
- 12 lb raisins
- 12 lb dried apricot
- 14 lb candied fruit
- 12 lb nuts
- 1 12 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup jelly
- 12 cup molasses
- 6 egg yolks
- 1 cup apple juice
- 4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon clove
- chop fruit and nuts
- sprinkle with 1 cup flour
- measure remaining dry ingredients and sift
- line a large tube pan with brown paper well greased.
- cream butter real well
- add sugar and cream til real fluffy
- add jelly or molasses
- stir in egg yolks
- add liquid alternately with flour mixture
- add the frui/nuts mixture
- beat well.
- bake in slow oven 300 degrees for 3 hours.
