Water and Sugar-free! Tasty Simmered Mackerel with 3 Seasonings
- 1 whole fish Mackerel
- 50 ml Sake
- 50 ml Mirin
- 100 ml Soy sauce
- 1 add (to taste) Ginger
- Slice the mackerel in half, and chop it into serving sizes.
- Place on a flat sieve, then pour boiling water over it to remove the odor.
- Bring the mirin and sake to a boil in a pot, evaporate the alcohol, then add the soy sauce and ginger.
- Once it comes to a boil, add the mackerel.
- Cover with a lid, then simmer for 15 minutes and serve.
