Banana Brickle Muffins

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar and baking powder.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the bananas, milk, oil and egg.
  3. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
  4. Fold in 1 cup toffee bits.
  5. Fill greased muffin cups three-fourths full.
  6. Sprinkle with remaining toffee bits.
  7. Bake at 350 for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.
  9. Serve warm.
  10. Yield: 1 dozen.
