Hot Bean Salad
- 1 lb. hot or mild Italian sausage
- 1 c. onions, chopped
- 1 c. celery, chopped
- 1 can chili beans (do not drain)
- 1 can pork and beans (do not drain)
- 1 can lima beans, drained
- 1 can green beans, drained
- 1 can yellow beans, drained
- 1 can kidney beans, drained
- 2 Tbsp. mustard
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce (optional)
- Saute sausage, onion and celery.
- Drain off grease.
- Add pork and beans and chili beans.
- Add drained green beans, yellow beans, kidney beans and lima beans.
- Mix mustard, brown sugar and tomato soup.
- Add to bean mixture and mix well.
- Put in a large casserole or roaster.
- Spread the tomato sauce on top of the bean mixture. Bake at 350u0b0 for at least 1 hour.
