Deviled Shrimps Recipe
- 5 tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon grated onion
- 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 1/2 c. cooked and cleaned shrimps
- 1 pimiento chopped (optional)
- 1 1/2 c. sliced stuffed olives
- 2 tbsp. dry white wine
- Salt to taste
- 1 to 2 tbsp. fine dry crumbs
- Heat 1/4 c. butter, blend in next 5 ingredients.
- Gradually add in lowfat milk and cook, stirring constantly till thickened.
- Add in remaining ingredients, except crumbs.
- Pour into shallow 1 qt baking dish and top with crumbs.
- Dot with 1 Tbsp.
- butter.
- Bake in preheated warm oven (400 degrees) for 15 min, or possibly till crumbs are browned.
- Makes 4 servings.
- I used extra shrimp.
