Skinnier General Tso Chicken

  1. Slice chicken breasts into bite sized chunks.
  2. Preheat oven to 450F
  3. Set up a dredging station: Cubed chicken, flour, whisked egg, corn flakes, greased baking sheet.
  4. First coat the chicken in flour, then dip it in the whisked egg, then coat it with corn flakes.
  5. Press down on the corn flakes to make sure they stick.
  6. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray and set the chicken on.
  7. Once all of the coated chicken is on the baking sheet- spray over with cooking spray.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. While cooking the chicken, mix the sauce ingredients in a large pot over medium high heat until thick.
  10. I made my Hoisin Sauce from scratch with this recipe.
  11. Prepare the optional garnishes
  12. Once the sauce and chicken are done, toss the chicken and sauce together in the large pot.
  13. Garnish and enjoy!
