Caramel Crispy Bars
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 cups crisped rice cereal
- 1 chocolate bar, chopped
- 1 caramel bar, chopped
- In large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Stir in corn syrup and vanilla; cook, stirring, for about 4 minutes or until mixture begins to thicken.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in cereal and chopped candy.
- Spread into lightly greased 13x9-inch cake pan.
- Cover and refrigeratefor about 1 hour or until firm.
- Cut into bars.
