Grammy Gilman's Raisin Pie Recipe
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 tbsp. vinegar
- 1 1/2 c. cool water
- Pastry for 8-inch double-crust pie
- In a saucepan, combine sugar and flour.
- Add in all other ingredients except crust; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly till thickened.
- Pour into a prepared shell.
- Cut several slits in top crust and position over filling.
- Seal crust.
- Bake at 400 degrees for about 45 min or possibly till golden brown.
- Yield: 6 servings.
